Job description
We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our healthcare team. The Behavioral Health Technician will provide one-on-one support to our patients with mental health and substance abuse issues at our addiction treatment center, and will work under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional to implement treatment plans and provide ongoing care and support for patients.
Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one support to patients to help them manage their mental health or substance abuse issuesMonitor and document patient behaviors and progressAdminister medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patientsProvide crisis intervention as neededCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive careParticipate in staff meetings and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest treatment approaches and techniques
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionalsAbility to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment
