Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, shipping, and maintaining accurate inventory.
SAP experience and strong data-entry skills are required/preferred, as this position will involve entering and updating inventory transactions in the SAP system.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, label, and properly store incoming materials.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Move materials between warehouse and production areas.
- Perform inventory control, cycle counts, and physical inventory.
- Enter and update inventory information and material movements in SAP.
- Research and report inventory discrepancies.
- Pick, stage, palletize, wrap, and load outbound shipments.
- Verify Bills of Lading, packing slips, labels, and required safety documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse/material handling experience preferred.
- SAP and inventory control experience strongly preferred.
- Accurate computer and data-entry skills.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to handle heavy materials, including drums.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work O.T. and rotating Saturdays.
