Radiologist

Join the premier cancer treatment center on the East Coast - Virginia Cancer Institute currently operates 6 facilities in the greater Richmond area and is actively seeking a Radiologist to work within our independent, physician led, private practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert interpretation of PET and CT diagnostic imaging studies.
• Communicate critical and urgent findings directly to physicians and clinical teams.
• Consult with referring physicians to clarify imaging orders and provide guidance on appropriate imaging protocols.
• Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities to maintain high standards of care.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Radiology.
• Oversight of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Knowledge and previous experience with radioactive isotopes, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and understanding of nuclear medicine imaging techniques.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) with specialization in Radiology.
• Board certified in Radiology.
• Proven experience in cancer detection and diagnosis.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
