Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA license in Texas
- Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational excellence and attention to detail
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to changing needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy sessions to students as directed by IEPs and established goals
- Assist in the implementation of communication intervention plans for individual students and small groups
- Document student progress accurately and efficiently
- Prepare instructional materials and adapt resources to accommodate diverse learning needs
- Engage with teachers, families, and staff to promote carryover of communication strategies across settings
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
