EHC is seeking CNC Machinists for a Client in the Houston Area
Days 6:00am-6:00pm; 7 days a week if needed.
Pay rate $16.00 - $20.00/hour
Primary Function
As a CNC Machinist, you bring value to the Company by safely and efficiently producing error-free parts so that customer satisfaction with our products will be the highest in the industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Properly setup CNC machine tooling and jaws (supervised)
- Teach geometry of basic turn and bore tooling (supervised)
- Operate CNC machine for basic pipe threading and make offsets (with little supervision)
- Learn Work Coordinate system (with supervision)
- Visual and dimensional inspection of parts per required specifications
- Maintain traceability of product during manufacturing
- Meet or exceed all key performance Indicators and the corresponding non-conformance offset measurements 2.8 Documentation as required
- Report non-conformances to leadman/supervisor
- Basic understanding of G-code programs
- Perform weekly machine preventive maintenance
- Follow the requirements of K&B's safety program
- Other duties as assigned

- Applicable inspection and test equipment designated by the inspection, measuring, and test equipment work instruction(s).
Qualifications
Education
- Education: High School Graduate or GED or Trade School or read and write
- Experience: Minimum 1 year industry experience
- Proficiency Testing: See training below in Section
- Capability Demonstration: Ability to perform job duties within 90 days of hire
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of machining or manufacturing industry experience.
