Entry Level Machinist

Pay Rate - $20.00-$30.00 Depending on Experience

LOCATION:

Linden, NJ/East Windsor NJ USA (Relocating to East Windsor NJ)

LOCATION & FACILITY TRANSITION

This position is currently based at our Linden, NJ facility and will be relocating to our new East Windsor, NJ facility. Candidates must be able to work in Linden during the transition and remain with the company through the move.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for machining a variety of super-precision metal parts using a variety of machines, precision tools and gauges to exacting specifications.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate assigned machine(s) to ensure precise conformance of part as specified by engineering print
  • Maintain tools as required
  • Maintain inspection logs, calibration logs and records
  • Maintain professional working relationships
  • Manage work load to meet production requirements
  • Other duties as assigned by Foreman

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Working knowledge & understanding of materials and metallurgy
  • Some machine shop experience working with mills and lathes desirable, but not required
  • Ability and experience reading detailed prints
  • Ability to use high-precision inspection and measurement instruments

EDUCATION

  • High-School Diploma or equivalent
