Compensation Range: $75,000 – $90,000

A well-established, U.S.-based industrial machinery manufacturer with over 125 years of production history is adding a Manufacturing Engineer to its core engineering team. This company builds precision fabrication equipment used by industrial customers across North America and operates with a culture grounded in technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Route parts and assemblies across fabrication, machining, and assembly processes to support production and tooling projects
- Gather and analyze production, labor, and material cost data to establish and improve routing standards
- Interface directly with Engineering to resolve finish, tolerance, and design issues necessary for reliable production
- Serve as a cross-functional liaison between Engineering, Production, and Operations with a DFMA lens on all process decisions
- Investigate and root cause production issues, driving corrective actions to resolution
- Support programming requirements for the fab shop including laser/plasma/oxy cutting and press brake bend simulation
- Analyze and improve workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout using continuous improvement methodologies (OPEX)
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for manufacturing processes
- Provide manufacturing cost and scheduling input to support production decision-making
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technologies, or Mechanical Engineering
- Co-op experience plus 2+ years of post-degree experience in manufacturing or heavy equipment product design
- Applied knowledge of manufacturing methods, fabrication processes, and strength of materials
- Proficiency in 3D CAD Solid Edge strongly preferred, SolidWorks accepted
- Ability to read, interpret, and create mechanical engineering drawings including GD&T tolerancing
- Strong data analysis skills using MS Excel; comfort with reporting and presentation tools
- Strong mechanical, manufacturing, and industrial aptitude with sharp attention to detail
- Effective cross-functional communication skills written, verbal, and technical
- U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship is not available for this role
