The Oregon Garden Resort is looking for a dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team for the holiday season. This position will primarily work breakfast and lunch two days per week, with the potential for additional shifts working in our Food Haus during the Silverton Christmas Market.
This is a seasonal position through January 1, with the possibility of continued employment after the season based on business needs and overall fit.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items to recipe and quality standards.
- Work the line efficiently while keeping your station clean, stocked, and organized.
- Complete prep work and assist with kitchen opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
- Communicate and work well with the rest of the kitchen and restaurant team.
- Potentially assist with food preparation and service in the Silverton Christmas Market Food Haus during the holiday season.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous restaurant or line cook experience preferred.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a kitchen team.
- Able to stay organized and maintain quality during busy service periods.
- Dependable and able to consistently work the scheduled breakfast and lunch shifts.
- Willingness to help where needed during the busy holiday season.
Requirements
- Valid Oregon Food Handler’s Card, or ability to obtain one.
- Reliable transportation to the Oregon Garden Resort in Silverton.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of a commercial kitchen position.
