Step into the night shift where precision meets performance. As part of the PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. team supporting a global leader in industrial automation, software, and engineering services, you’ll keep production moving while the world sleeps.

Your Shift & Pay

• Schedule: 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM (with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch)
• Pay: $19.00 per hour, paid weekly

A Night in the Life

At 11:00 PM, you review the job travelers and head to your first setup. You bring CNC and conventional equipment onlinelathes, mills, grinders, saws, drill pressesand, when needed, welders. As parts come off the machines, you sand, deburr, and finish them to spec. You adjust feeds and speeds, choose the right tooling, and set coolant flow to protect surface integrity. Each run ends with a careful inspection to confirm every dimension meets quality standards. Before you clock out, your area is clean, organized, and ready for the next shift. Throughout the night, you share observations with teammates and contribute ideas that make the process safer, faster, and better.

What You’ll Handle

• Operate CNC and manual equipment: lathes, mills, grinders, saws, drill presses, and welders
• Perform sanding, deburring, and finishing as needed
• Apply proper machining techniques, cutting speeds/feeds, and coolant parameters
• Inspect parts to confirm quality standards and specifications
• Keep a safe, orderly work area
• Communicate effectively and support continuous improvement

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role
• Solid understanding of machining processes and equipment
• Welding knowledge is a plus
• 2–4 years of machining experience preferred
• Proficiencies: CNC Programming; CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
