Salary: $235,000–$435,000 + discretionary merit bonus

Direct Counsel is seeking aMergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney to join a market-leading M&A practice at a premier global law firm. The Associate Attorney will be part of the firm's highly active U.S. M&A team, representing clients on complex mergers and acquisitions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role offers significant opportunities for collaboration with clients and senior attorneys and is well suited for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated transactional work and wants to continue developing within a market-leading M&A practice.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school with exceptional academic credentials

• 2-8 years of experience practicing M&A at a peer law firm

• Strong law firm experience handling mergers and acquisitions

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Highly motivated with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Strong interest in working closely and collaboratively with clients

• Ability to work effectively as part of a sophisticated transactional team
