Let’s be honest: this role is salesdriven. You’ll carry a production number, you’ll ask people to buy, and part of what you earn depends on what you write. If you’re not comfortable with sales conversations, this won’t be the right fit and it’s better to say that now than halfway through the process.

Still reading? Good. That tells me you’re exactly the kind of person who might thrive in this role.
You get stability and earning potential

Most sales jobs make you choose between a steady paycheck and the chance to earn more. This one doesn’t.

You’ll have a real base salary every month no guessing, no stress during slow weeks. On top of that, you earn commissions and team bonuses based on performance. We built this compensation model intentionally. We want you making smart decisions for customers, not scrambling for commissions.

You’re not coldcalling strangers. We’re an established agency with longstanding customers, and a lot of your opportunity is already sitting in our book:
  • Auto customers who don’t have home
  • Home customers who don’t have life
  • Families whose coverage hasn’t kept up with their lives
Add in the leads that come through our office referrals, online inquiries, walkins and most of your conversations will be with people who already know who we are.

What this role actually looks like:
As an Account Associate for Lori Tuggle State Farm Agent, you’re a core part of our daily operations and our customers’ success. You help grow the agency through meaningful relationships, proactive communication, and thoughtful recommendations that genuinely improve people’s lives.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships to drive retention and growth
  • Conducting policy reviews and offering clear, helpful recommendations
  • Resolving complex customer issues with professionalism and care
  • Using your product knowledge to recommend, explain, and sell policies to both warm and cold leads
  • Keeping your notes and pipeline organized in our system
  • Following up because most sales are lost simply because nobody called back
Who thrives here?
If you’ve ever asked someone to buy something anything you’re already halfway there.

Phones. Cars. Gym memberships. Upgrades. Appointments. Collections. Signing people up for services. If you’ve sat across from someone and asked them to commit, and you’re comfortable doing it, you’re the kind of person who succeeds here.

Beyond that:
  • You follow up consistently
  • You can hear “no” and still show up the next day
  • You stay organized enough to know who you owe a call to
  • You’re comfortable with basic computer skills (we’ll teach the rest)
  • You genuinely like people small office, small town, and customers who know us by name
Qualifications:
  • Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Willingness to engage in sales conversations
  • Not required: an insurance license, insurance experience, or a degree.
