Electrician (Racine)
Build commercial and industrial electrical systems on a large-scale Wisconsin data center construction project. This opportunity is suited to hands-on electricians who can demonstrate the quality of their installation work, document their experience, and work safely as part of a field crew. Experienced construction wireman/construction electrician (CW/CE) candidates are the current recruiting priority.
Best fit: an experienced commercial or industrial electrician with hands-on installation skills and documented contracting experience, ready for a large construction environment.
Location: Racine, Wisconsin
Schedule: Published project schedule is Monday–Saturday, approximately 58–60 hours per week, with a 7:30 a.m. start. Current assignment schedule and overtime must be confirmed; hours are not guaranteed.

Compensation: $25.00–$46.88/hour for the published CW/CE classifications. Pay depends on verified classification, experience and current project assignment; final hourly pay is confirmed during the offer process.
Per Diem: The recruiting packet does not provide per diem or a relocation bonus. Candidates should plan reliable transportation and any necessary temporary housing; confirm travel provisions before committing.
Responsibilities
- Install conduit, raceways and cable tray to drawings and field direction.
- Pull, label and terminate conductors within the work assigned to your classification.
- Support equipment installation, testing, punch-list completion and a clean, organized work area.
- Read relevant drawings and explain the electrical work you personally performed.
- Work under Journeyman and Foreman direction and follow site safety, lockout/tagout and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Relevant hands-on commercial or industrial electrical installation experience that can be documented by employer, project, duties and hours.
- Ability to use appropriate electrical hand tools and follow drawings, work instructions and safe work practices.
- Willingness to complete the applicable union referral and classification process. Final classification is based on verified qualifications, not job title alone.
- A current Wisconsin electrical credential appropriate to the work before starting jobsite work; license/application documentation is part of onboarding.
- OSHA-10 Construction before jobsite work and the personal hand tools required for the assigned classification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on data centers, major commercial buildings or industrial construction projects.
- Conduit installation, cable tray, wire pulling, terminations and testing experience.
- A clearly documented electrical-contracting work history and completed relevant training.
