The Production Control Supervisor oversees production scheduling, workflow coordination, material planning, and production tracking within a process manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role supervises the production control team, coordinates quality activities, and drives process improvements to support efficient and reliable operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules.
- Coordinate workflows across production activities.
- Plan and monitor material requirements.
- Track production progress and status.
- Coordinate quality-related activities.
- Supervise the production control team.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve unexpected issues, delays, or supply shortages quickly to minimize costly downtime.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate digital or physical records, processing paperwork, and enforce safety and quality control standards
- Adaptability: Pivot quickly when schedules change or emergencies arise in a fast-paced environment
Requied Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in production control.
- Fabrication and or manufacturing experience is a must
- Experience with sheet metal
- Experience with Lasers, Turrets, Press Brakes, Welding, Lathes, & Mills
- Must read blueprints, cad drawings, weld symbols
- Lean Manufacturing
