Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

The quality inspector will perform in-process and final inspections at any of the 10 stations on the production line, focusing mainly on circuit boards. The role involves visual inspections and checks by hand, without the use of traditional inspection tools or measurements. The inspector will receive instructions via a tablet and will not need to read schematics or blueprints. This position requires standing and moving between different production lines throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections on circuit boards at various stages of the production line.
• Respond to mid-line inspection calls and follow tablet instructions for quality checks.
• Check connectors, wiring, and other components visually or manually.
• Ensure consistent quality without the use of traditional inspection tools.
• Maintain a good attitude, effort, and attendance.

Essential Skills

• Manufacturing experience of at least 6 months to 1 year.
• Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge in wiring and assembling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in quality control and assurance.
• Understanding of quality inspection processes.
• Familiarity with visual inspection techniques.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a manufacturing setting in Poway, with a team of over 100 employees. The position is on a contract-to-hire basis with a first shift starting at 4am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of POWAY, CA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
