Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description
This role operates and monitors production machinery to inspect, finish, and package printed label products on the 2nd shift. You perform both visual and automated inspections, complete finishing operations on rolls of labels, and accurately record production results while maintaining high quality standards and safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility, working normal shift hours with overtime as required to meet production demands. The environment involves operating production machinery such as slitters, seamers, inspection tables, and cutters, along with regular use of rulers, calculators, and basic hand tools. Work is physically active, requiring constant standing, walking, squatting, bending, and reaching overhead, as well as lifting up to 35 lbs. The position requires close and color vision with visual acuity correctable to Snellen 20/20 to perform detailed inspections of printed products. You work in a production-focused setting where safety, quality, and adherence to established manufacturing processes are essential, and attire is appropriate for a hands-on manufacturing and machine operation environment
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cranbury, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
