GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Thisfulltime position supports the missions and operations of Scouting America, Orange County Council at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center.TheChallengeCourseSpecialistisprimarily responsible forsupporting theoperation, training, and safety of thechallenge courseprogramsat the IROEC’s “Adventure Hill.”This includesoperating and providingfacility and equipment support forIROEC’szipline, climbing tower, high ropes course, and low ropes course.
