As a full-time School Psychologist in the Bedford area, you’ll play a key role in the assessment and support of students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. Your expertise will help shape student success by collaborating closely with educators, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments, as well as re-evaluations
- Interpret results and compose comprehensive evaluation reports
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility decisions for special education services
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and support staff
- Offer counseling and direct social-emotional support as needed
- Develop and help implement behavioral interventions and individualized support plans
- Support MTSS/RTI intervention processes to foster student progress
- Communicate with families regarding student concerns and recommended strategies
- Maintain meticulous documentation while adhering to all required timelines
- Deliver actionable recommendations to assist students’ academic and behavioral achievement
Qualifications:
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Indiana School Psychologist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in psychological assessment, report writing, and communication
- Strong knowledge of special education regulations and IEP processes
- Effective organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and caseloads
