HVAC Designer/ Revit Drafter

Arden Engineering Constructors, LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer/Revit Drafter to support our Mechanical Engineering team by providing HVAC design and drafting services for commercial and industrial projects. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional withHVAC design experience and strong proficiency in Revit MEP. This position will work closely with lead engineers to develop coordinated HVAC system designs and 3D models while gaining valuable experience and advancement opportunities within the organization.

Essential Duties:

• Design and layout HVAC systems, including ductwork and piping distribution systems.
• Develop and coordinate 3D Revit MEP models for mechanical systems.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, plans, details, and diagrams in both 2D and 3D environments.
• Assist with the layout and design of air handling units (AHUs) and mechanical rooms.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural and other engineering disciplines.
• Work closely with Lead Engineers to implement design concepts and project requirements.
• Manage assigned tasks, prioritize workload, and meet project deadlines.
• Maintain company quality standards and drafting best practices.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of HVAC design experience, preferably with an engineering consulting firm.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP required.
• Experience designing HVAC systems, including ductwork and piping layouts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Associate degree, technical certification, drafting program coursework, or related education preferred.
• Experience working in both 2D drafting and 3D modeling environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Plant 3D, and Navisworks is a plus.
• Experience with AHU and mechanical room layouts preferred.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new HVAC systems, design methods, and industry best practices.
