Step into a rewarding, contract-based role as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a dynamic and collaborative school setting near Winamac, IN. Utilize your expertise in speech and language development to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents as you provide in-person therapeutic services tailored to a diverse caseload ranging from 65 to 80 students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Prior work with young children, school-age, and adolescent populations strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans catering to students’ unique needs
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and planning discussions
