We create unforgettable sports experiences youth camps with pro athletes, autograph signings, VIP access events, and live fan experiences delivered nationwide. 500+ events, 50+ professional athletes, 10,000+ fans served. We're expanding fast across new markets and event formats.
The Role
Our first Director of Operations. You'll own the infrastructure that makes live events run execution, logistics, staffing, vendor relationships, athlete coordination, and the systems that hold it all together. This reports directly to the CEO. Real authority, real accountability.
What You'll Own
- End-to-end planning and execution for all Foundry Sports events across all markets signings, camps, VIP experiences, live fan events
- Standard operating procedures for every event type; consistent execution regardless of city or venue
- Event-day staffing, venue coordination, fan flow, check-in, and on-site athlete logistics
- Athlete travel, appearance windows, run-of-show documents, and day-of talent handling
- Vendor relationships: venues, staffing agencies, security, photography, authentication
- Operations team hiring, development, and accountability as we scale
- Operational tech stack: event software, check-in systems, staff scheduling, attendee data, consent management
- Cross-portfolio collaboration with sister companies in the sports industry on shared logistics
What We're Looking For
- 6–10 years of operations experience with direct ownership of live event execution
- Multi-city or multi-venue event management experience
- Strong people manager you've hired, developed, and made hard calls on staff
- Experience handling talent or athlete logistics with the discretion that requires
- Systems-minded and comfortable building process from scratch
- Located in or reliably commuting to Neptune, NJ 3 days on-site per week
- Comfortable with 25–35% travel including weekends
Preferred: background in sports experiences, fan events, or youth sports; familiarity with Shopify or event ticketing platforms; experience at a founder-led or growth-stage company.
