Job Title: RME Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (Temporary)
Job Description
This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex material handling, automation, and robotic systems in a large, high-speed distribution environment. You will perform predictive and preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and ensure material handling equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will also use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, document maintenance activities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large distribution facility that operates high-speed, automated, and predominantly robotic equipment. You will work with advanced material handling systems, conveyors, and robotics in a data-driven environment where performance is monitored through metrics and system reports rather than direct micromanagement. The position requires comfort with walking significant distances, often around 10,000 steps per day, and lifting up to 49 pounds as part of regular duties. You will work a 10-hour shift, and must be open to any shift assignment, including various days and times, to support around-the-clock operations. The environment is industrial and fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on safety, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with maintenance and operations teams.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Lubbock, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
