THE ROLE

You price the work and you own the assumptions behind it, through bid day and into the handoff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and spec and design build pricing on commercial and institutional work
• Takeoff, gear and switchgear quotes, and the lead times that decide the job
• Scope review, alternates, and the questions that surface a gap early
• Bid day, and the handoff to the project manager and the field
• Cost history kept so the next bid is sharper than the last
• Temporary power, site distribution and utility coordination

QUALIFICATIONS

• Five or more years estimating electrical work
• Accubid or ConEst fluency helps
• Gear lead times and switchgear pricing you have actually chased
• Numbers that still held once the job was running

COMPENSATION

Base of $115,000 to $155,000.
