Job Description

As a Window Installation Carpenter, you will be responsible for removing existing windows, preparing openings, and installing new window systems to meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards. You'll work with a variety of products including vinyl, wood, aluminum, and specialty windows while ensuring installations are weatherproof, secure, and visually appealing.

This role combines hands-on carpentry work with customer interaction and offers opportunities to develop your skills while working alongside experienced professionals.

What You'll Do
  • Remove old or damaged windows and prepare openings for new installations
  • Install vinyl, wood, aluminum, and specialty window products
  • Measure, cut, and fit trim, shims, insulation, and framing materials
  • Seal, caulk, and weatherproof installations to prevent air and water intrusion
  • Operate power tools, hand tools, ladders, and related equipment safely
  • Inspect completed installations for quality, accuracy, and code compliance
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and make necessary adjustments
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding project timelines and installation details
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites and company vehicles
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Construction or carpentry experience
  • Window installation experience preferred
  • Strong finish carpentry and trimming skills
  • Ability to read measurements accurately and perform detailed installation work
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with framing, finish work, roofing, or concrete
  • Previous construction, outdoor work, or farm experience
  • Comfortable working at heights

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
