Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant

We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of a rapidly growing, dynamic medical practice and enjoys a positive work environment. Candidate should be a self-starter and be able to work as part of a team, possess initiative, good organizational and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn.

• Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant
• 1+ years in a medical office preferred
• Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), and paper-based charting and filing systems
• Conversant in medical terminology
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.

Position duties: Provide a variety of technical, clerical, and patient care services under the supervision of the practitioner.

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment by performing preliminary physical tests to include taking vital signs, drawing labs and reporting patient history summary.
• Update patient charts.
• Perform administrative support and reception services as required.
• Serve as patient liaison by providing information about our treatments and services to patients, assist in patient support and follow-up.
• Other tasks that are based upon the Practice’s requirements.
• Part time or full time.
• Compensation based upon skill and experience
