Provide Executive Leadership on Large-Scale Industrial Projects
We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to join our Atlanta team and lead the successful delivery of complex industrial construction projects throughout the Southeast. This role is ideal for a strategic construction leader with a proven track record of overseeing large-scale industrial developments, building strong client relationships, and leading high-performing project teams.
The Project Executive will provide oversight for multiple industrial projects and serve as a key leader responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction, and overall project success.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive oversight for multiple industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams across multiple active projects
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and key industry partners
- Drive project profitability through effective cost management, forecasting, risk mitigation, and contract administration
- Support business development efforts, client pursuits, interviews, and strategic growth initiatives
- Participate in project planning, staffing, scheduling, procurement, and execution strategies
- Monitor project performance related to budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction
- Review and approve major project decisions, change orders, subcontractor awards, and procurement activities
- Collaborate with executive leadership to establish operational goals and company initiatives
- Lead executive project reviews and provide regular reporting on project health and performance
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the organization
- Develop long-term client relationships that generate repeat business opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive construction experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
- Proven experience overseeing industrial construction projects valued from $50M to $500M+
- Experience managing multiple project teams and large project portfolios simultaneously
- Strong understanding of project operations, scheduling, budgeting, contract management, and risk mitigation
- Demonstrated success developing client relationships and securing repeat business
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other construction management platforms
