Responsible for performing skilled concrete construction and general labor duties, including concrete placement and finishing, forming, reinforcing steel installation, site preparation, material handling, and related construction activities. Works as part of a construction crew to safely, efficiently, and accurately complete projects according to plans, specifications, and company standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare job sites and work areas for concrete placement and construction activities.
• Set, assemble, and remove concrete forms.
• Measure, cut, bend, place, tie, and secure reinforcing steel, rebar, wire mesh, dowels, and related materials.
• Read and follow construction drawings, plans, specifications, measurements, elevations, and instructions.
• Assist with layout, forming, site preparation, demolition, repairs, material handling, equipment operation, and cleanup.
• Load, unload, carry, and stage construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, forms, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, job-site procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and crew members to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Perform other reasonable and related duties as assigned by management based on business and project needs.
