K2 Automation supplies hard-to-find and obsolete PLC, drive, HMI and motor components (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, ABB) to manufacturers across North America. We're growing our Houston sales team.

This is a hunting role.Most of your day is outbound: cold calling plant maintenance managers, engineers and purchasing teams in food & beverage, paper, machine building and heavy industry.

You will:

  • Make 50+ outbound calls a day and run prospecting sequences.
  • Re-activate lapsed and dormant accounts.
  • Respond quickly to inbound web and ad leads.
  • Quote RFQs and follow every quote to a decision.
  • Open at least 2 new accounts a month.
  • Report to our Sales Manager.

You bring:

  • 1–4 years of B2B sales with a proven outbound or cold-calling track record. Industrial distribution, MRO or electrical experience is preferred.
  • Resilience on the phone, and discipline with CRM notes and follow-up.
  • Automation parts knowledge is a plus; we'll teach the product.

Pay:$41,600–$45,500 base plus uncapped commission on margin. First-year OTE is $60k–$75k. 401(k) with 4% match, 15 days PTO plus 6 holidays, and medical from January 2027.
