Screen Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Screen Printing Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining screen printing presses to produce high-quality printed garments and products. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

1. **Setup and Operation**: Prepare and set up screen printing presses for production runs. Adjust settings and parameters to meet specific job requirements.

2. **Quality Control**: Ensure each printed item meets quality standards by conducting regular checks. Troubleshoot and resolve any printing issues to maintain high-quality output.

3. **Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of screen printing equipment to ensure smooth operation and prevent breakdowns.

4. **Ink Mixing and Color Matching**: Mix inks and match colors according to job specifications, maintaining consistency across production runs.

5. **Screen Preparation and Reclamation**: Assist in screen preparation, including coating, exposing, and developing screens. Perform screen reclamation as needed.

6. **Efficiency and Workflow Management**: Manage workflow to maximize efficiency and meet production deadlines. Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

7. **Record-Keeping**: Keep accurate records of production runs, ink usage, and other relevant data.

8. **Collaboration and Communication**: Work closely with other team members, including graphic designers and production staff, to ensure project requirements are met.

9. **Compliance with Safety Protocols**: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper handling of inks and chemicals.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in screen printing is a plus.

- Proven experience as a screen printing press operator or similar role.

- Strong understanding of screen printing techniques and equipment.

- Ability to match and mix colors accurately.

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Good physical condition to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
