The Office Security Specialist is responsible for the safety and security of SCN's staff and Field Support Center facility. They will protect SCN employees, visitors, and company property through access control, proactive monitoring, and incident prevention.
The position is located onsite in our Chicago office. It is a part-time role, expected to work three or four 7-hour shifts per week (approximately 21-28 hours per week). Available shifts include 6:00am-1:00pm on Saturdays and 1:00-8:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Founded in 2004 under the auspices of The Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, SCN serves as the central organization dedicated exclusively to the safety and security of the American Jewish community, working across 146 federations, 50 partner organizations, over 300 independent communities, and other partners in the public, private, nonprofit, and academic sectors. The target hourly rate for this position is $40/hour. Final hourly rate offered will be determined through a thorough assessment of multiple factors and criteria which may include candidate experience and qualifications, available market data, internal pay equity, and budget considerations.
