Pay: Starting at $19 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

The Learning Experience - Ashburn is hiring an experienced Daycare Teacher for our Toddler/2-Year-Old classroom. We're looking for someone who understands this exciting stage of development - from rapidly growing language skills and emerging independence to big emotions, new friendships, and constant exploration.
You'll provide the consistency, encouragement, and engaging learning experiences that help our young learners thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Lead hands-on activities including art, sensory play, music, movement, language, and early learning experiences
- Encourage communication, independence, self-help skills, and positive social interactions
- Use positive guidance and age-appropriate classroom management
- Support diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and other daily routines
- Observe children's progress and developmental milestones
- Communicate professionally and positively with families
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and center leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Follow Virginia licensing and center requirements
Qualifications
- Previous professional daycare, childcare, preschool, or early childhood classroom experience required
- Experience with toddlers or 2-year-olds strongly preferred
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable, patient, energetic, and team-oriented
- Must meet Virginia licensing requirements for the position
