Job Summary
Support product design, testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and implementation for existing products. Develop engineering solutions that improve cost, quality, performance, and reliability while working with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engineering design solutions for product improvements.
- Support product design, testing, verification, and validation.
- Manage multiple moderate-scope engineering projects and implementation timelines.
- Identify root causes and develop corrective actions for product issues.
- Perform engineering calculations, data analysis, and technical evaluations.
- Create engineering documentation, reports, and design analysis.
- Work with Engineering, Supply Management, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Apply engineering standards, policies, processes, and product knowledge.
- Support designs from concept through production implementation.
- Use CAD and engineering tools to develop and evaluate design solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Science, or related field.
- 1–3 years of engineering experience.
- Experience with mechanical/electrical/hydraulic system design or diagnostics.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD and engineering tools.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, structural, and powertrain systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes.
- Experience with technical drawings and GD&T.
- Experience taking designs from concept through production.
- Strong engineering calculations, data analysis, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills
- Creo, Windchill, SAP, ANSYS or similar engineering systems.
- CAD and engineering databases/tools.
- Product development and verification/validation processes.
- Engineering documentation and technical analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced engineering degree.
- Experience with commercial mowing products or similar equipment.
- Gasoline/diesel engines and engine systems.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Systems Engineering or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of enterprise product development processes.
