Senior Electrical Engineer Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Must be a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of post-graduation experience in the design of electrical systems for buildings
- Able to develop electrical construction plans and specifications for lighting, power, and low voltage systems across multiple types of buildings and facilities
- Detailed understanding of generation systems (prime, standby, and emergency) as well as building codes and NEC
- Competency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Responsibilities Include:
- Perform electrical calculations for loads, short circuit, and breaker studies to produce high-quality deliverables
- Work collaboratively with team members across all disciplines and report directly to the Vice President of Operations
- Apply knowledge of updated building codes, requirements, and principles such as microgrids or green engineering
