Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Description
This role focuses on safely and accurately loading, unloading, and handling windows, doors, and related building products within a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. The shipping and receiving clerk supports production and distribution operations by preparing shipments, verifying documentation, maintaining inventory organization, and contributing to on-time delivery and overall product quality.

Work Environment
The role is based in a West Des Moines manufacturing and warehouse facility that is not temperature controlled, with exposure to varying temperatures depending on the season and shipping areas. The standard shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime and occasional weekend work possible during busy projects or deadlines, though current overtime levels are low. You will work in a fast-paced environment around industrial equipment and moving machinery, collaborating closely with a powder coat team of approximately 57 members. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, a t-shirt, safety glasses, and appropriate hearing protection to ensure safety and comfort throughout the workday.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
