Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Auto Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain cars, trucks, and other vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical skills, experience with diagnostic equipment, and the ability to perform quality repairs efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive services.
- Repair and replace brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, and other components.
- Perform engine, transmission, and drivetrain repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical and computer-related vehicle issues.
- Perform oil changes, fluid services, tune-ups, and other maintenance tasks.
- Inspect vehicles and identify required repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, scanners, and other automotive equipment.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all OSHA and workplace safety requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Own tools preferred.
- ASE certification is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
