Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Candidates with a mechanical background and welding experience are desirable
- Knowledge of cement, the construction industry and integrated computer systems an asset
- Must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE")
Responsibilities
- Hands-on operation of the terminal equipment and daily operating functions
- Maintaining terminal buildings and equipment in good condition
- Efficient handling of product in both receiving and shipping
- Responsible for the unloading of barges and/or railcars, transferring products into proper silos
- Loads bulk unit trucks correctly, providing legal weights and proper product for customer delivery
