About the Role

To The Rescue is hiring aMedical Specialist - Direct Careto support individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and mental health needs in their home and community.

In this role, you’ll providehands-on support with daily living activities, medication administration, and community engagement. You’ll play a key role in helping individuals build independence, stay safe, and achieve personal goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Care & Daily Support
  • Provide hands-on support withpersonal care, meal preparation, and daily routines

  • Assist individuals in achieving goals related toindependence, socialization, and daily living

  • Support community involvement throughoutings, activities, and engagement

Health, Safety & Medication
  • Administer medications according to care plans and company policies

  • Monitor individuals’ health, safety, and well-being

  • Respond appropriately in crisis or high-pressure situations

Documentation & Team Collaboration
  • Complete required documentation accurately and on time

  • Follow individualized care plans and ensure goals are being met

  • Communicate with team members and participate in trainings and meetings

Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • CNA or prior caregiving experience preferred

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in healthcare is a plus
