**Accounts Payable Accountant**

Location: Rancho Cucamonga

Pay: $24-28/hour, based on experience

5+ years of AP experience

**Job Description:**
- Review and process invoices, verifying accuracy and obtaining necessary approvals for payment using NetSuite. Address and resolve discrepancies, flagging any unusual items or prices.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries about account status, working to resolve issues and communicating findings.
- Conduct regular check runs, upload positive pay files from NetSuite and Claims System, and manage the vendor onboarding process and contract retention.
- Prepare and submit annual 1099 IRS filings, create expense reports, and analyze accounting procedures, recommending improvements where needed.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies, maintaining confidentiality and upholding the integrity of the organization's data.
- Support the Accounting Department by assisting with various tasks, including generating reports, summarizing audit results, and performing other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Educational Requirements:**
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting.
- Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks, and manage increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience with internet-based tools and willingness to learn new software.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
