Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide nursing leadership and supervision during assigned house-coverage shifts. The RN House Supervisor will support clinical operations, coordinate nursing activities, provide guidance to nursing staff, and help ensure compliance with applicable healthcare standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing leadership and supervision during assigned house-coverage shifts.
- Coordinate nursing activities and support smooth clinical operations.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff as needed.
- Monitor clinical practices and help ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Support patient care operations and address clinical issues that arise during assigned shifts.
- Promote safe, effective, and high-quality nursing practices.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Apply knowledge of Joint Commission standards to support quality and compliance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Primary-source verification of NYS RN license and registration through the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Current AHA PALS certification.
- Current AHA ACLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of acute-care nursing supervision experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of Joint Commission standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
