Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support major pharmaceutical CDMO construction and infrastructure projects at a manufacturing facility in Boulder, CO. The Project Engineer will oversee site infrastructure projects involving utilities, tank farms, pipe racks, and modular construction within an active GMP manufacturing environment.

The role will support projects valued at approximately $100M and will be involved across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, startup, and commissioning while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and regulatory requirements are met.

Important Duties:
• Lead and coordinate site utility, tank farm, pipe rack, and infrastructure projects from engineering through startup and commissioning.
• Support engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, and project execution activities.
• Coordinate modular and super-skid construction approaches for pharmaceutical infrastructure projects.
• Work closely with Engineering, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and other cross-functional teams.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and overall execution progress.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, engineering firms, and project stakeholders.
• Review engineering documents, drawings, specifications, and construction deliverables.
• Support field construction activities and resolve engineering or installation issues.
• Participate in commissioning, startup, turnover, and operational readiness activities.
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues during construction, startup, and commissioning.
• Ensure projects are executed in compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and applicable engineering standards.
• Provide regular project status updates and communicate risks, issues, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.

Required Skills:
• 4–10 years of engineering/project engineering experience.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, or other highly regulated manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or capital projects in active manufacturing facilities.
• Strong understanding of site utilities, process piping, tank farms, and pipe rack systems.
• Experience with modular construction and/or super-skid construction approaches.
• Experience supporting engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Strong project coordination, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and site operations.
• Strong understanding of construction safety, quality, and engineering requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Must be able to work onsite in Boulder, CO.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
