Imagine stepping onto the production floor as the night settles in. You start up your workstation, inspect the line, and set the pace that keeps our color compounding process moving smoothly through the night. That’s a typical shift for a Color Compounding Unit Operator at Teknor Apexa role where precision, teamwork, and safety drive every decision.
Teknor Apex began as a small Rhode Island tire shop in 1924 and has grown into a global custom compounder with facilities across the U.S., Belgium, Singapore, Germany, and China. We’re still privately held and led by the founder’s family, which means we’re built on relationshipswith our employees and our customersthat help us create better, customized compound solutions together.
“Manufacturing is a team sport and we work together to achieve our goals.” ~Jon Fain
