A day in this role
You clock in for second shift, review engineered drawings and electrical schematics, and gather components for a new water treatment skid. You lay out PVC and metal piping spools, fit and assemble valves and fittings, and mount sensors and instruments with care. Mid-shift, you run conduit and assist with panel assembly, verifying every connection against documentation and quality standards. You inspect your work for fit and function, note anything that needs correction, and escalate design or equipment concerns to the team. Before clocking out, you tidy your station, confirm EHS requirements are met, and prepare the next build so it’s ready to flow.
