Now Hiring: Fifth Wheel Assemblers

Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work? We are seeking dependable and motivated Fifth Wheel Assemblers to join our production team in Wylie, TX. In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling fifth wheels and brackets while ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Review work orders to determine required parts and quantities.
  • Gather materials, tools, and components needed for assembly.
  • Assemble fifth wheel locking mechanisms according to work instructions.
  • Grind, hammer, and fit pins and related components as necessary.
  • Operate hoists and material-handling equipment to move parts safely.
  • Inspect completed assemblies and manually test locking mechanisms to verify quality and functionality.
  • Rework and adjust assemblies when needed to ensure proper operation.
  • Perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) inspections as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred

Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools

Ability to read and follow work instructions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with heavy equipment, trailers, or automotive assembly
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience
  • Experience operating hoists and material-handling equipment
  • Quality inspection or SPC experience
