Job Title: Analytics EngineerJob Description

The Data Analytics & BI Sr. Analyst independently oversees analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and automation projects from concept through implementation. The analyst collaborates directly with stakeholders to define business needs, determine the appropriate solution approach, translate requirements into technical designs, and deliver scalable solutions that enhance business processes, decision-making, and measurable outcomes. As a fully proficient analyst, this role is responsible for planning and executing the complete solution lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, stakeholder communication, adoption, and ongoing enhancement. The analyst independently manages project priorities, risks, decisions, and deliverables within the scope of owned initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate moderate to complex business problems through data analysis, process evaluation, customer needs assessment, and operational requirements.
  • Develop solution recommendations that produce actionable insights and measurable business value.
  • Partner directly with stakeholders to define business needs, establish requirements and success measures, evaluate solution options and tradeoffs, align expectations, and guide decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Independently lead analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and automation projects from concept through implementation.
  • Establish the solution approach and delivery plan; manage requirements, priorities, timelines, risks, testing, implementation, stakeholder communication, adoption, and transition to ongoing support.
  • Select and apply appropriate analytics methodologies, visualization practices, automation technologies, and AI-enabled capabilities based on business and technical requirements.
  • Share knowledge, reusable approaches, and best practices with peers and stakeholders to improve solution quality and consistency.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing analytics, reporting, and automation capabilities through process optimization, data quality enhancements, user feedback, and governed AI-enabled solutions.
  • Ensure owned solutions align with HR data governance standards, approved technologies, development practices, and business priorities.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis, Power BI, Python, and SQL.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Data Analytics.
  • Experience in applying automation, machine learning, or AI-assisted analytics tools in a business context.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or automation projects from concept through implementation.
  • Ability to translate moderate to complex business needs into solution requirements, technical designs, implementation plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Capability to manage multiple project priorities, scope, risks, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience in using Agile, Scrum, Design Thinking, or comparable delivery methods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in relevant analytics and development technologies such as Tableau, Microsoft Power Platform, or comparable tools.
  • Ability to independently resolve moderately complex analytical, technical, and delivery challenges and coordinate specialized support when needed.
  • Ability to share technical knowledge and best practices with peers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to evaluate solution options and clearly communicate technical considerations, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
Work Environment

The role is based in an office setting, with no lab or manufacturing environment involved.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raymond, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.31 - $38.31/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
