We're looking for a Construction Safety Officer who isn't afraid to get out in the field and work directly with construction crews.

This role is ideal for a safety professional who understands that keeping a jobsite safe goes beyond paperwork. You'll partner closely with Superintendents, Foremen, and field teams to identify hazards, reinforce safe work practices, investigate incidents, and ensure OSHA compliance while keeping projects moving forward.

What You'll Do

Conduct jobsite inspections and safety audits
Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
Monitor OSHA and project safety compliance
Lead toolbox talks, orientations, and safety training
Coach crews and supervisors on safe work practices
Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses
Complete safety documentation and reporting
Work with field leadership to address risks before work begins
Track safety trends and support preventative initiatives
Help build a strong, accountable safety culture

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of construction safety experience
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
  • Hands-on experience working around active construction operations
  • Excellent communication and field leadership skills
  • Strong hazard-recognition and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between jobsites

  • CHST Certification
  • OSHA 30 or OSHA 500
  • First Aid / CPR certification
  • Incident investigation experience
  • Safety experience involving:
    • Civil construction
    • Earthwork
    • Underground utilities
    • Heavy equipment
