TRC Talent Solutions has partnered with a well-established manufacturing and product solutions company to hire a Manufacturing Engineer in Milner, GA. The Manufacturing Engineer will support and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, production systems, and engineering designs to drive efficiency, quality, and operational performance. This role works closely with engineering, production, quality, and leadership teams to implement process improvements, support capital projects, and ensure manufacturing operations meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, cost reduction, and productivity.

  • Support the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and leadership teams to improve production performance and resolve technical challenges.

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures.

  • Support capital improvement projects, equipment installations, facility upgrades, and process optimization initiatives.

  • Support the development and modification of engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation as needed.

  • Evaluate materials, equipment, tooling, and manufacturing methods to improve production capabilities.

  • Monitor production metrics and analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

  • Partner with production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Assist with process control development, equipment start-up activities, and employee training.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving quality, and increasing operational efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, industrial operations, or a related field.

  • Experience with engineering design and CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.

  • Experience supporting production environments and implementing process improvements.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related business software.

  • Experience in fabrication, metal manufacturing, assembly, welding, or industrial production environments highly preferred.
