Coneco Engineers & Scientists, Inc. is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing & Business Development Manager to support and grow the company's marketing, proposal development, communications, and business development efforts.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional or recent college graduate who is looking to build a career in marketing and business development while gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of a growing professional services company.

The Marketing & Business Development Manager will help strengthen Coneco's market presence, coordinate proposals and qualification packages, manage social media and marketing initiatives, support company-wide communications and mailings, and provide general administrative support when needed.
As part of a small and collaborative organization, this is a hands-on role. The successful candidate should be comfortable "wearing many hats," learning new responsibilities, working across departments, and stepping in where needed to help the team succeed.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMarketing, Branding & Social MediaHelp develop and maintain Coneco's overall marketing presence and brand.
Manage and grow the company's professional social media presence, including planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing content.
Develop content highlighting company projects, services, employees, recruiting efforts, community involvement, industry news, and company milestones.
Maintain consistent company branding across digital and printed materials.
Create and update brochures, presentations, advertisements, project sheets, employee profiles, and other marketing materials.
Assist with maintaining and updating company website content.
Coordinate project photographs, employee features, company news, and other content for marketing purposes.
Identify creative opportunities to increase Coneco's visibility within the industries and communities we serve.
Monitor basic social media and marketing performance and recommend new ideas and opportunities.
Coordinate the preparation and submission of proposals, Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), qualification packages, and other business development materials.
Work with company leadership, project managers, technical staff, and administrative personnel to gather information needed for proposals.
Draft, edit, proofread, format, and assemble professional proposal materials.
Maintain proposal templates, project descriptions, employee resumes, qualifications, and other reusable content.
Track proposal opportunities, deadlines, submissions, and outcomes.
Assist with client outreach and other business development initiatives.
Research potential clients, markets, opportunities, and industry trends.
Assist with preparing presentations and materials for client meetings, interviews, and business development activities.
Coordinate company mailings and communications supporting departments throughout Coneco.
Prepare letters, mailing lists, labels, informational packets, announcements, and related materials.
Assist departments with creating polished and professional client-facing documents.
Coordinate printing, assembly, postage, and distribution of materials when necessary.
Maintain organized contact and distribution lists.
Assist with internal company communications and announcements.
Provide general administrative support to company departments and leadership as needed.
Assist with document preparation, formatting, scanning, filing, data entry, and electronic record organization.
Help coordinate company meetings, events, employee activities, community initiatives, and special projects.
Assist with ordering marketing materials, promotional items, and related supplies.
Provide backup administrative support and coverage when needed.
Work collaboratively with Operations, Human Resources, Accounting/Billing, project managers, technical departments, and company leadership.
Take on new responsibilities and special projects as the position develops.
Perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the company.

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, Public Relations, or a related field preferred, but not required.
0–3 years of relevant professional experience.
Internships, college projects, student organizations, freelance work, social media management, writing experience, or other relevant experience will be considered.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to write, edit, and proofread professional content.
Comfortable using social media and learning to manage professional social media accounts.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with Canva, Adobe products, social media platforms, or other creative tools is helpful but not required.
Previous proposal, engineering, environmental, or professional services experience is not required.
Ability and willingness to learn new technology, software, industries, and business processes.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally on an occasional basis for business purposes.

CompensationThe anticipated salary range for this full-time position is $60,000–$70,000 annually. Actual starting compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's education, relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
Work Environment & ScheduleThis is a full-time, in-person position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at Coneco's Bridgewater, Massachusetts office.
The position is primarily office-based; however, occasional local travel may be required for business purposes, including company events, meetings, marketing activities, or other business-related needs.
