Thacker Plumbing & Heating LLC is looking for an organized and personable Secretary/Scheduler to join our team in Mineral Ridge, OH! Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls, respond to customer inquiries, and provide exceptional front-line customer service
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments, installations, and maintenance calls for plumbing and heating technicians
- Manage and maintain daily dispatch schedules to ensure efficient routing and technician utilization
- Handle general office administrative duties including data entry, filing, and correspondence
- Communicate job details and updates between customers, technicians, and management
- Process work orders, invoices, and maintain accurate customer records
- Follow up with customers regarding appointment confirmations and service satisfaction
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an administrative, receptionist, or scheduling role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with basic computer applications including scheduling software, email, and Microsoft Office
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong customer service mindset
- Experience in the trades, HVAC, or plumbing industry is a plus but not required
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
