WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As our Commercial HVAC Project Manager, you'll take ownership of commercial HVAC projects and help keep our people, materials, schedules, and customers moving in the right direction.

You'll:

• Manage Commercial HVAC / Mechanical projects from planning through completion
• Coordinate and support HVAC installers, technicians, Foremen, and field crews
• Manage manpower, scheduling, workflow, and project priorities
• Develop strong working relationships with General Contractors, Superintendents, Project Managers, vendors, and other trades
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, plans, specifications, schedules, and project documents
• Coordinate equipment, materials, deliveries, and jobsite requirements
• Monitor project schedules, deadlines, milestones, and field progress
• Conduct jobsite visits to verify quality, safety, productivity, and progress
• Anticipate potential manpower, scheduling, material, and field issues before they create delays
• Coordinate HVAC work with other trades and construction schedules
• Communicate project changes, conflicts, RFIs, material concerns, and field conditions
• Keep communication flowing between the field, office, GC, Superintendent, vendors, and project leadership
• Assist with change orders, project documentation, material tracking, punch lists, and project closeout
• Hold field teams accountable for quality, productivity, safety, and completion expectations
• Help ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to ASTAR's quality standards

WHO WE WANT TO TALK TO

You don't necessarily need to have spent your entire career with "Project Manager" in your title.

We want to hear from experienced Commercial HVAC professionals who know how to run work and lead people.

You may currently be a:

Commercial HVAC Project Manager | Mechanical Project Manager | HVAC Superintendent | HVAC Foreman | Commercial HVAC Lead | Lead Installer | Commercial HVAC Technician

If you have strong Commercial HVAC field experience and you're ready to take the next step into greater project responsibility, we encourage you to apply.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Commercial HVAC or mechanical construction experience
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and installation processes
• Experience coordinating or supervising HVAC field crews
• Ability to confidently read and interpret mechanical blueprints, plans, specifications, and construction schedules
• Understanding of manpower planning, material coordination, scheduling, and workflow
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence communicating directly with GCs, Superintendents, Project Managers, vendors, technicians, and installers
• Ability to identify problems, make decisions, and keep projects moving
• Comfortable working between the office and active jobsites
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between local DFW project sites

Hands-on Commercial HVAC Technician experience is a BIG PLUS!

Bilingual English/Spanish is a PLUS!
