Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be an active member of our team, maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, plumbing, and facility fixtures to support production goals.
MUST HAVE: 3 years of maintenance
Machinery Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, dismantle, repair, and reassemble manufacturing machinery and equipment, making necessary adjustments for optimal operation. Perform modifications and equipment installations as needed.
Plant Support Systems: Operate and repair essential utility equipment, including boilers, air compressors, and water softeners.
Troubleshooting & Technical Specifications: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose issues with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
Preventative Maintenance: Develop and execute preventative/predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Conduct testing on components (such as fuses) and perform shop tasks including welding, soldering, and brazing.
Contractor & Support Coordination: Handle complex repair projects and liaise with external contractors when required.
Safety & Workplace Standards: Maintain a clean, organized work environment through continuous 5S participation, housekeeping, and required PPE usage.
Team Collaboration: Assist in training apprentices and peers, and actively participate in company Continuous Improvement initiatives.
