Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to deliver cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as required by the assignment.
- Properly position patients, select appropriate exposure factors, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain image quality, document procedures, and ensure accurate labeling and records.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles; monitor equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Communicate results and observations to radiologists and supervising clinicians as part of a coordinated care team.
Requirements
- California radiologic technologist licensure or eligibility to practice in the state.
- Proficiency in CT imaging, general radiography, and fluoroscopy as described in the assignment details.
